Diet

Variant of the Cretan diet. This diet is to follow on a daily basis and not simply as part of a weight loss.

I continue to follow the best I can that diet, which allowed me to lose 28 kg in just 10 months - my weight was 100 kg for 1.83 m, and this without the need for additional physical activity or deprive myself of food.

You must in any case skip meals or starve. For all that is grilled red meat, fish, vegetables or salad there is no restriction on the quantity!

However, you must avoid the white meat, especially chicken and especially cooked with its skin. However at a second stage it will be possible to include from time to time turkey meat but still cooked without the skin!

To make the diet less painful it is possible to include an exception from what is prohibited but for one meal only and every 4 days (for example a pizza, a sweet dessert, but not both the same day!).

You must also be wary of fruits especially those bringing a lot of sugar and therefore limit the number of fruits you eat a day. In principle grapefruit covers the needs that can be found in other fruits. If you cannot find grapefruit then kiwi or lemon can do the job.

Thus fruits such as bananas are excluded! You should also limit the quantities of grapes, strawberries or other fruits that may contain a large amount of sugar!

Obviously that diet cannot apply to anyone and the best is to consult a specialized doctor, a nutritionist or dietician who will better define the appropriate diet and if needed to follow you or even coach you.

Content of the diet

  • For the morning: 1/2 grapefruit + 1 slice of toast with a little butter + black coffee or tea without sugar.

    • 3 meals out of 14: cheese of your choice.
